MILENIO biography
Milenio is a national newspaper published in 11 cities across Mexico, including Monterrey, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Jalisco, León, Guanajuato, Pachuca, Puebla, Puebla, Villahermosa, Tampico, Torreón, Toluca, and Xalapa. Milenio is owned by Grupo Multimedios, which also owns the television channel Multimedios Televisión and the radio channel Multimedios Radio. Milenio was the first newspaper in Mexico to predict Vicente Fox's victory in the 2000 presidential election, and was the first newspaper in the world to predict Enrique Peña Nieto's victory in the 2006 presidential election. The newspaper also publishes a daily poll which gave Enrique Peña Nieto an 18-point lead over Andrés Manuel López Obrador 5 days before the election, while the real difference was 6.46%.
