Syndicate controversies
Syndicate has been involved in a number of controversies over the years. In 2016, he was caught in a scandal involving gambling. He had promoted a gambling website called CSGO Lotto without disclosing that he owned the site. This led to accusations of dishonesty, and sparked a wider debate about the role of YouTubers in promoting gambling to young audiences. Syndicate eventually apologized and made a donation to a charity that helps people with gambling addiction. In 2017, Syndicate was also criticized for promoting a skin trading site that was associated with a group of hackers who had been stealing items from players.
